HR Trends in Post Pandemic Era fueled by Technology & Millennial work force

Three years after a new decade, the entire business environment highly changed due to the impacts of the Covid 19 pandemic, emerging technologies and the millennials debut for the jobs after their school and higher studies. With the impacts of the pandemic, organizations started different HR practices to manage their employees towards the job roles maintaining the social distances and still some of those former practices are following due to the easiness of those and with the prevailed cost effectiveness. Between the millennials and the emerging technology has a strong relationship because the millennials are rapidly adapting with the emerging technologies due to the prevailing fast and easiness and this shows how all these factors are impacting towards the HR practices and how the organizations give up the traditional practices replacing these new trends (Amit, 2023)

Hybrid work model (Working from any remote area and the offices)

Hybrid working culture mainly started with the Covid 19 impacts, organizations provided the facilities for the employees to carry out their job role from their home and with these practices identified some of the cost-effective factors of the work from home and according to this some organizations continuously provided the work from home facilities. Specially the millennials highly started to give their fullest support towards the work from home as they always prefer to associate with the emerging technologies and the Organizations started to develop some of the systems to monitor the work from home employees and to gain the maximum outcome of them.

Working in the Metaverse will be highly trend in the near future because the Metaverse is developed for different types of virtual reality related tasks and for the organizations will not need to invest highly for making physical office locations and the top management will get the opportunities to participate the meetings from anywhere in the world (Heinze, 2021)

Virtual reality is a trending factor within the millennials and the people born before the year 2000 will highly move towards these types of technologies because the middle age and older generations are always rapidly adapting with the emerging technologies because with the traditional solutions, they cannot fulfill their needs and wants (Linda, 2022)

Change management

Today organizations always follow the different change management tactics to prepare the employees towards their job roles, most of the time employees become failure when the employees do not have the required knowledge and the abilities to implement the given tasks and this become failure and the employees are fired due to the poor perform, but now, before to the different initiatives organizations involve to train the employees with required training sessions, knowledge improvement sessions, increasing the awareness, removing the possible future barriers and many of the involvements. With these change management strategies, most of the time employees become success in their job role and always performing well (Phillip, 2012)

Latest technology as a way to drive trust

With the power of the latest technological factors, different leaders cannot fire the employees according to their personal requirements because the different technological systems give high transparency levels of the performance of the employees and based on this employee’s job security is very high

With the effectiveness of the latest technologies, each employee performance can be measured through the different digital platforms and as a result, possible to promote the employees and provide the rewards with a high transparency and this will impact to treat all the employee’s same manner without biased for anyone special (Avinash, 2021)

Online communications

With the development of the different digital platforms, organizations can easily communicate with the employees those who work in outstation areas highly fast and well effective manner because there are various types of digital platforms available for all the communications (Bhasin, 2022)

  3. I would like to highlight the business impact of the points highlighted in your article. most of the organization has moved to cloud after the pandemic. as a result the requirement for Syber Security has increased. after introduction of hybrid working environment, the requirements for the mobile devises has increased. Hence there is a business increase of cloud, security, mobile devices and work floor automation etc..
